Do you want to contribute to the important security work of the Government Offices? We are looking for a security generalist with experience in security work in sensitive operations. At the unit for security coordination, there is both the department security section and the management support of the security department. The unit is responsible for management, support, and coordination in matters concerning security work at the Government Offices. The unit also assists the Chief of Security Protection at the Government Offices in the overall security protection work and the work with security protection analysis.
As a security coordinator in the department security section, you will primarily work to provide advice and support to the ministries, the Administrative Department, and the Prime Minister's Office on security issues, both regarding operational protection and security protection. The work includes conducting security assessments from various perspectives, sometimes related to NATO and the EU. You will also conduct security checks, participate in the work with security protection analyses, and hold training sessions in the security field. In addition, you will also work with incident management. You will represent the operation in meetings with internal and external partners.

Your background
You have a relevant university degree or other education in the security field combined with work experience that is relevant to the position. If you have completed security protection training, it is an advantage. You have current and relevant experience in security work within sensitive operations and knowledge of the regulations governing security and security protection work. You also have experience in training and giving presentations in the security field.
It is advantageous if you have experience with administrative tasks in the Government Offices and knowledge of the organization and working methods of the Government Offices. Experience in conducting security clearance interviews and working with security protection analysis is also advantageous. Good knowledge of the role of civil servants is also a merit.
Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

The position is one or more permanent employments with a six-month probation period as a start. The position is classified in a security class, and a security clearance with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but you are welcome to have a foreign background.
